Get Ready for the Migrant Camp Visit

Well it's official. We just received word that we will be visiting a Migrant Camp again this year - on Sunday September 17. The one we visited last year has been closed, so we will be going to a different one near Arendstville. It is smaller, only 8 people and 3 of them are children. All are welcome to join us and a sign up sheet will be ont bulletin board. Letting us know that you will be coming ensures that we won't leave without you.

We have one short month to get ready for the visit, so we'll use that time to collect needed items. Such things as: sweaters, socks, health kits (which consists of some different items from the health Kits we've been sending to Mission Central), food to prepare a meal, prizes for Bingo. There will be a sheet on the bulletin board for you to sign-up for items to donate. Of course, money is welcomed as well. You may place your donated items in the labeled boxes at the entrances to the sanctuaries. Your monetary donations may be placed in the offering plate or given to Don Tesno or Pepper Hewes.
